Recent Projects
Factory Refurbishment - Fire Damaged Building:
Apache WA was contracted to repair a fire damaged factory. Work completed: realigned burnt tilt panels, installed new stitch plates, replaced joint sealing, propped walls so the steel worker can install a new roof, crack injection to burnt walls, concrete patching, grind the floor to remove the old paint, remove the paint on all the walls.
Concrete Tank Repair:
Apache WA was contracted to repair a concrete tank. Work completed: supplied scaffolding to do the works also supplied the crane and man cage, concrete repair works, painting works including a pipe spoiler, replace the steel pipe supports in the bottom of the tank.

What is "Concrete Spalling"?Spalling is the result of water entering brick, concrete, or natural stone. Dissolved salt is carried through the material in water and crystallizes inside the material near the surface as the water evaporates. The word Spall describes the chips or fragments of a material that is broken off a bigger object.

What is "Brick Fretting"?Fretting where the surface of the brick progressively spalls off. Caused by water migrating in the wall and transporting salt to the brick surface where it forms crystals that grow in voids in the brick and break off from the brick surface as they expand.
